One item that often gets pushed down the list until the final walkthrough is grease trap installation. It is not flashy, but it can absolutely make or break your early days of operation. Done right, it helps your kitchen run smoothly, protects your plumbing, and keeps you on the right side of local requirements. Done wrong, it can lead to slow drains, backups, emergency pump-outs, unhappy neighbors, and surprise costs when you are already juggling payroll and food orders.

  • Any excavation or concrete work (for in-ground units)
  • Routine pump-out or cleaning service
  • Occasional line cleaning if buildup occurs downstream
  • Potential costs for compliance or inspections, depending on your area

When you plan for both the upfront and the ongoing, you avoid the “why is this costing me again?” frustration.
